Home Visits

Our initial home visits with families of infants/toddlers and our initial classroom visits with families of two-year-olds and preschoolers are designed to start building the trusting relationships that are important to quality child care and education.

During these visits, families receive information about the classroom, teachers, and routines as well as the policies of the center; visits also give teachers the opportunity to learn more about the children they will welcome into their room–their routines, schedules, allergies, habits, family values and expectations.

Your child’s teacher or the program director will call you to schedule this initial visit prior to your child’s enrollment.

Scholarship Program

At the heart of Webster Child Care Center’s mission is a commitment to provide quality care and education to all children. Through the Alix Johnson Scholarship Program, the Center is able to offer assistance to families experiencing crisis. This program is funded by the United Way of Greater St. Louis, fundraising events, and donations.

You can support our center directly during this time by clicking on the “Make A Donation” button below.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Scheduled twice each year with the primary teacher, parent-teacher conferences provide the opportunity to discuss each child’s development and progress. Typically, formal assessment results, individual goals, and the child’s portfolio are discussed during this time. Conferences are also an opportunity to share family traditions and values, and give feedback and input regarding the program.
